WWI GLOBAL SUMMER SCHOOL 2026
A Creative Global Summer School in Emerging Media, Film & Fashion
This summer, Whistling Woods International (WWI) opens its doors to students from partner universities around the world for an inspiring 10-day learning experience in India's creative capital of Mumbai. Designed as an immersive, hands-on programme, the Summer School offers three exciting specialisations across emerging media, film, and fashion. Each pathway will blend classroom learning with real-world industry exposure and the energy of WWI's campus. All programmes will also include cultural exploration – a weekend of travel in Mumbai's oldest inhabited districts while two programmes will also offer the chance to travel to a township of craftsmen near Mumbai to document and shoot their work.
Who Can Apply?
The Summer School welcomes a mixed cohort of students from our partner universities with education in film, fashion, design, media, communication, and related fields. Each programme includes pre-requisites or recommended backgrounds so students can choose the track best suited to their skills and interests.
Why This Summer School?
This initiative strengthens WWI's commitment to global partnerships while giving students an opportunity to experience India's creative industries firsthand. The programme encourages cultural exchange, shared learning, and international collaboration allowing students to build new skills, new friendships, and new perspectives in one of the world's most dynamic creative ecosystems.
